What is blogging?

A blog is an online journal, like a diary or a log-book, where a person, company, band or club can record their thoughts, experiences and news in an easy to read format. It's basically a website that can be updated by its owner without the need for any technical knowledge.

Blogs always show the latest story at the top and allow users to subscribe with RSS reader software which allows them to read the latest entries without having to visit a particular website.

Blogs can have many purposes:
