Website portfolio
The team at Deeper Shade have developed, designed and maintained websites for a wide variety of clients, from small business start-ups to major name blue-chip clients. Past clients include:
- BT
- The BBC
- British Gas/Centrica
- The Conservative Party
- Thring Townsend
Below are case studies for some of the more interesting sites we've worked on:
 | | Thring Townsend Legal firm Thring Townsend required their existing Flash site to be recoded into W3C Standards compliant XHTML/CSS based ASP pages, optimised to be search engine friendly and compliant with the Disability Discrimination Act while maintaining the functionality of the Flash version without loss of speed or usability. Within a week of the site launching, it was the top Google search result for numerous related terms, indicating the success of the optimisation. |

 | | Lewis Bradley
Fresh from reaching the final of the BBC's 'Any Dream Will Do', actor and singer Lewis Bradley required a website to provide a focal point for updates for fans during his period starring as Joseph at the London Palladium in Spring 2008. Deeper Shade built a site containing a forum, photographs and streaming video clips to provide an official communication channel to Lewis's rapidly growing fanbase.

 | | Kelkay Kelkay needed an easily updateable site to enable retailers to directly source garden rocks, pebbles and stones. The site used AJAX technology to dynamically change content without refreshing the users page, and mixed Flash animation with a MySQL database and content management system to create an exciting online catalogue. |
|
 | | Eve magazine video bumpers The website for Eve Magazine required their channel 5 sponsorship bumpers for 'Grey's Anatomy' to be converted into Flash video and placed on the site. We edited the videos together, compressed them to a size that would stream quickly and easily and embedded them into the site to make the content as seamless as possible. |
|
 | | LEWIS Direct Global public relations firm LEWIS PR required an online E-commerce site to provide the first one-stop shop for PR services in the UK. The site was a full database-backed e-commerce site incorporating a calendar based booking system, embedded Flash videos and selectable photography image bank. |
|
 | | Shiny Shelf Shiny Shelf required writers from around the world to be able to upload articles for display on the site, along with a message board forum, voting facility, and a completely customisable interface. Using PHP and MySQL, Deeper Shade created the site exactly to specification and it's currently one of the most popular science fiction and pop culture sites in the UK. |
|
 | | PartyDating PartyDating was the UK's original combined dating and partying site, the perfect place for single people to meet and arrange parties. Deeper Shade built the site using PHP in conjunction with a mySQL database, building in a Content Management System to make the site easily updateable. |
|
 | | TEENMUSIC.CO.UK TEENMUSIC.CO.UK was a pop music portal for teenagers and students that demanded a wide range of features including a simple interface, a voting system, a message board, as well as a facility for maintaining news and reviews. Deeper Shade built the site using Chilisoft ASP and CSS in conjunction with a mySQL database, ensuring a Content Management System was in place to make the site easily updateable. |
